Fiction writing and visual art of any sort are not dissimilar. Both are about creating an "image", if you will, though each uses its own special tools.
I have been writing "stories" since I was too young to write--I used to illustrate a story and dictate the prose to my mother. Since that time I've written numerous novella for my own entertainment and that of my family. I have, however, never seriously attempted publication, though I have sent queries here and there.
I do have one novel in print, a fundraiser for the Wolf project called Coming Home. The synopsis for it can be found below.
As a devoted Kraag scribe and warrior, Filea's one duty in life is to seek knowledge, and it is a duty that she performs admirably. More about Filea's Quest.
Le's people, the Kraag, have been protected by Suevettian hospitality for most of her life, but that quickly changes when she angers the Monarch Scelest by offering protection to his wrongly-exiled brother, Alberretto. More about Le's War.
Orphaned at a young age, raised by a goddess, and living in a land where any predator is unwelcome, Janus wants nothing more than to live as a normal wolf. In his struggle to survive, he must contend with both man and nature-as well as enemies of his own kind. Visit Coming Home's Amazon.com page
What on earth is Nanowrimo? Well, it's a yearly writing exercise, occuring in November, something of an Iron Man competition for writers. Learn more about Nanowrimo and read my wrimos.
While I make a living as a web programmer, I work in an office where the primary task is writing, and sometimes the writing assignments spill over to me. Listed on my Other Writing page you will find any published shorts that I might write for the office or other purposes.
